Through improvement in durability of the cross bit, it is effective in reducing users’ running costs, NG products, operators’ fatigue and improving workability.
(1)The drive surface of the 4 blades in the cross hole (the surface that receives torque from the driver bit) is angled
and thickened toward the tip.
(2)Since the angle of contact part to the driver is the same shape as existing JIS* cross hole, a normal driver bit
can also be used.
(1)From the figure below, cam-out does not occur unlike conventional JIS* cross hole
since the vector acts in the rotation direction on the cross drive surface, which is
feature of CROSS FIRM.
Durability of driver bit improves spectacularly if cam-out does not occur.
*Japanese Industrial Standards
(2)It enables reliable fastening since no torque transmission loss occurs.
